Winter Ice & Dry Tooling Training Course – Starts 2nd December!

This winter we’re running an 8-week Dry Tooling Skills Programme here at The Climbing Hub, perfect for anyone wanting to build confidence, strength and technique on axes — whether you’re completely new or looking to refine your skills before heading out onto real ice. ONLY £100

👥 Who’s it for?

Complete beginners and developing climbers alike. We’ll assume no prior experience, so expect a steady start with plenty of guidance. By the end of the course, you’ll be confident, efficient, and far less likely to get pumped too quickly!

⏰ When and where

Every Tuesday evening from 2nd December – 20th January
Each session is 90 minutes (7:00 pm – 8:30 pm) and includes a structured warm-up.

If we have more than 8 participants, we’ll split into two sessions:

18:30 – 20:00

20:30 – 22:00

Each session will have two instructors, with Neil and/or Caitlin leading the later stages of the programme alongside Andy and Ramon.

🧗 What to expect

The first few weeks focus on building safety, confidence and movement efficiency.
The middle sessions are about time on the wall — developing stamina and control.
By January, you’ll be working advanced techniques and putting everything together in a fun, supportive comp environment.
