Learn how to Belay (Top Rope). This class will teach you how to fit a harness correctly for yourself and others, tie in with a re-tied figure of 8 and stopper, and belay for a top roped climber. At the end of this course you will assessed in your knot tying and belaying competency, and ability to catch a falling climber on belay. We require a minimum of x2 1.5 hour sessions before sign off, for some people this may take another lesson and ultimately is up to the instructor on whether you pass the end assessment.
Per person per 1.5 hour instructed lesson £25 - with a minimum requirement of x2 participants for the course to run.
If you are wanting a belay buddy we can add you to a waiting list until we find you a climber partner to participate in the course. No more than x4 participants per lesson.
